EAGLES LANDING PARADE
Here are the details…
The parade will start at 12 noon. Anyone wanting to participate will sign up at the link below. We will meet at the pool area for 11 am.
If you would like to enter to rid in the parade, you can ride in a power wheel, golf cart, wagon, bike, walk, or anything of the sort except for cars, trucks, ATVs, etc. We do not want anything that goes faster than a golf cart, as many of us will be slower moving. You can decorate your “float” to be entered into win the best float.
Immediately after the parade around 1:30 pm, we will head to the Open Houses. You can start at either one. We will have 2 types of King Cakes at each open house. We will have a King Cake tasting contest as well, as you can be entered into a raffle for some prizes.
If you have any questions, please ask! I’m super excited about our first annual Eagles Landing Mardi Gras parade.
We will also be looking for volunteers to help clean up and make sure no debris is left in anyone’s yard. If you would like to help sponsor or clean up, please text 225-573-8885.
