HOA Timeline

This is being created and added to as much as possible by looking through years of social media posts and emails.
It may not be completely accurate, please email contact@eagleslandingla.com if you see any discrepancies.

  • Neighborhood Inception & First HOA Management Company
  • Eagles Landing has always had an HOA association since 2013
  • The HOA is ran by a board of directors consisting of at least 3 persons
  • The HOA has continuously been supported by a management company
  • The original HOA board was ran by DR Horton alongside Community Management (the original HOA management company)
  • An Annual HOA Meeting was held on December 15, 2016 (link to minutes)
  • A HOA Meeting was held on July 13, 2017
  • An Annual HOA Meeting was held on November 28, 2017
  • No Annual Meeting was held in 2018.
  • An Annual HOA Meeting was held on February 21, 2019
  • DR Horton helped fill in the financial voids, from yearly dues not being paid, when they were in charge of the neighborhood
  • Once the last houses were sold, DR Horton allowed for the board to be made up of homeowners
  • First Homeowner Elected Board (January 16, 2020)
  • A new board was elected by the homeowners on January 16, 2020 at the 2020 Annual Meeting (link to post)
  • No Annual Meeting was held in 2021
  • Second Homeowner Elected Board (March 29, 2022)
  • The Second Elected board was decided on during a virtual meeting on March 29, 2022
  • A straw vote was sent out on May 26, 2022 to the neighborhood to vote on staying with Community Management or go to Magnolia Management
  • Multiple people have resigned during the second board’s term and the President, Nichole Gee, is the only original board member remaining
  • Second HOA Management Company started
  • Magnolia Management took over management in June 24, 2022
  • An annual HOA meeting was held on April 12, 2023
  • A virtual HOA meeting for “inactive members” was held on October 3, 2023
  • A Special HOA meeting was held on March 2, 2024 to discuss proposed bylaw changes
  • Magnolia Management ended their management of Eagle’s Landing on March 31, 2024 (link to email)
  • Third HOA Management Company started
  • Lewis Companies took over management on April 10, 2024 (link to email)
  • Lewis Companies resigned effective August 31, 2024 (link to email)
  • No HOA Management Company timeframe began
  • Special Meeting to vote on new bylaws was originally scheduled for Septmber 6, 2024 (see details here)
  • Sixth Amendment to Restrictions and Covenants was filed on December 11, 2024 (see here)
  • Annual Meeting of the Board and Election held on December 22, 2024 at 4pm virtually
  • Second Board ended as Nichole Gee (President), Michael Perdue (Treasurer) and Yekeatha Smothers (Secretary)
  • Third Homeowner Elected Board (December 22, 2024)
  • Third Board elected during December 22, 2024 virtual only meeting. Phase 1: David Gambino and Jessica Ledet, Phase 2: Leigh Ann DeBarros and Jason Graham (President), Phase 3: Adrina Moten and Alexander (Blake) Wilson
  • Jason Graham resigned on January 7th, 2025
  • David Gambino resigned on January 8th, 2025
  • As of January 9th, 2025, Leigh Ann deBarros is the acting President, Alexander Wilson is the Vice President, Adrina Moten is the Secretary, Jessica Ledet is the Treasurer and Jennifer Brown and Drew Worthy are directors
  • Magnolia Management began HOA Management again (01/13/2025)
  • Sixth Amendment to Restrictions and Covenants was cancelled on May 6, 2025 (link to email)
  • Fourth Homeowner Elected Board (September 9, 2025)
  • Shawn Parker, Jeffrey Walker & Blake Wilson were elected
  • HOA Board Meeting (September 26, 2025): Jessica Huber & Rick Smith were appointed to the board. Shawn was elected President, Jeffrey was elected Secretary, Rick was elected Treasurer and Jessica and Blake were elected Members at Large
